Since the advent of human settlements, Civil Engineering and Agriculture have been fundamental in shaping societies. Civil engineering’s role in agriculture encompasses the development of transportation infrastructure, logistics, road safety, efficient irrigation systems, watershed management, river basin planning, flood control, erosion prevention, and sustainable groundwater utilization, all crucial for enhancing agricultural productivity. India has recently initiated schemes as Gati Shakti, e-NAM, PMKSY, Atal Bhujal Yojana, Jal Shakti Abhiyan, Bharatmala, and Sagarmala that are driving advancements in agricultural logistics, water accessibility, and rural connectivity.
The Application of Civil Engineering in Agriculture (ACEA) conference provides a timely platform for experts, industry leaders, scientists, and academicians to converge and explore innovative solutions in these domains. Featuring seven technical sessions, dedicated industry segments, and a panel discussion, the conference aims to foster collaborations and set future research directions in agricultural infrastructure and resource management.
